Who Are We?

MESP represents the non-certified employees of the district. Our mission is to advocate for support professionals and quality public education. We do this by...

1. Negotiating policies that affect your working conditions & working hard to negotiate the best salary and benefit packages possible.

2. Advocating for coworkers when they encounter employment issues, and act as a liaison to communicate concerns to district administration.

3. Presence on district committees to ensure that our members' interests are represented.

4. Collaborate with AEA & NEA to produce a more effective and powerful impact on the legislature at the local, state and national level.

About AEA

Keeping the Promise of Quality Public Education
With more than 34,000 members, the Arizona Education Association is the largest professional organization in Arizona. AEA was formed more than a century ago, in 1892, when a group of Arizona educators banded together to protest the use of 14-year-old textbooks. Since then AEA continues to take the lead in advocating for support of Arizona's public schools, improving the quality of public education through positive change, and improving the professional lives of teachers and school staff members.
